Be All There - Guest Post

The above words came straight from the heart of Jim Elliot, missionary to the Waodani people in Ecuador in the 1950's.  Jim Elliot would later be murdered by the very people he was so desperately trying to reach for the Gospel.  What a powerful testimony.

I first heard that quote in the context of a Bible Study from Elizabeth George entitled, Loving God with All Your Mind.  There was one particular section where she encouraged readers to "bloom where you are planted".  The Scriptural context for this part of the lesson has stuck with me ever since.

Head over to Messes and Moments to finish reading.  Thank you, Sarah, for this opportunity!
