a dream of mine

Can I just share with you something straight from the heart?  I hope my vulnerability doesn't make you uncomfortable, I just want to tell someone.

When Evie is born, I have this dream of her still being alive when she meets Micah.  I want so badly for one moment in time on this earth to hold both of my babies and have two little hearts beating next to mine.

Would you be willing to pray for that with me?

Just one moment together.

  1. I am praying for that very thing.

  2. Been praying for that every day, Sarah. <3

  3. A prayer from a very blessed mom (and grandma) to a dear person, whom I've never met, but have been praying for. God orchestrates every beat of our hearts and I know He is in control. The heartbeat of a child is a most precious sound. I, too, hope that God allows the two to meet in this life, even if just for a moment, but knowing too, that all will meet one day, completely whole, in God's house, will bring some comfort. I too know that you, even with grief at the doorstep, are cherishing each and every moment of your pregnancy and though it's painful and challenging, reading your blogs (through tears..) shows that not only are you a God-loving and God-fearing woman, but you also know that He works miracles! Only He knows what's in store for little Evie..thank you for sharing her with us.

  4. Prayed this a.m., and will whenever I think of you. I am very thankful that you have been especially attuned to your precious moments with Evie, pre-birth. Pregnancy is too often "endured" as a means to the end, and therefor its wonders missed, but it is a miraculous, brief, unrepeatable event. If a day is as a thousand years with God, imagine what He is doing do with your moments. I actually resorted to begging Him on your behalf, not because it would be more effective, and knowing it is unbecoming on every level, but my mother's heart so wants you to have your dream, a dream that seems a simple request. May He make it so Sarah, and abundantly so.

  5. Praying for you! I so hope this dream comes true!!
